Breast Shape Styles

Your breast shape and size can vary depending on a number of factors, and they may also change slightly as your body moves through different stages of life – whether from your teens to adulthood, whether you have children, both while pregnant and then after, and so many other life stages. And while most bra shapes and styles can be worn by all women, there are some which may work better than others in comfort and fit depending on your breast shape. That’s where our fit experts can help.

Round Shape

Round breasts shape

Round shaped breasts have equal, firm fullness above and below the nipple. Most bras will fit this breast shape well including balconette, plunge, full coverage, push up and bralette styles.

Tear Drop

Tear drop breasts shape

Tear Drop breasts have more fullness below the nipple and slightly less above it. Overall, the shape is firm and doesn’t require much lift. Balconette, ¾ coverage, full coverage, push up and bralette styles will work well for this breast shape.

Relaxed

Relaxed breasts shape

Relaxed shaped breasts have a soft and less full appearance. Balconette, ¾ coverage, full coverage and push up styles will give this breast shape the best support and lift.

Athletic

Athletic breasts shape

Athletic shaped breasts are typically smaller, firm, and don’t require a lot of support. Plunge, ¾ coverage, push up and bralette styles will suit this breast shape best.

Wide Set

Wide set breasts shape

Wide Set shaped breasts project towards the arms, rather than towards the centre of the chest. A plunge, ¾ coverage, full coverage and push up bras will all provide good support and, depending on the style chosen, can help position breasts closer together front and centre.

Asymmetrical

Asymmetrical breasts shape

Asymmetrical breasts can be any of the previously mentioned shapes, with a visible difference in size between each breast. Plunge, ¾ coverage, full coverage and push up bras will all give great comfort and support and an insert for the smaller of your breasts will help to balance the size difference.

Full Figure

Full figure breasts shape

Full Figure breasts are a similar shape to round, but may need more support from the sides and, often, bras with a wider back band can be more comfortable. Plunge, ¾ coverage, full coverage and push up bras all work well for this breast shape.
